A DINGLE FAMILY CHRISTMAS

An interactive holiday production in which you can experience the sights, smells, tastes, sounds, laughter, and traditions of Christmas in England, circa 1820, as a guest of the fictitious Dingle Family, a family of wealthy eccentrics who have embraced the romantic age with a vengeance: Dante is a writer of bad novels such as Low Expectations and Teak House, Desdemona is a pre-post-abstract-impressionistic artist, Desire is a radical feminist poet whose poems include I Wandered Homely in a Crowd and Men are Pigs, and Dora is a performance artist staring in her own one-woman show about a one-legged Jamaican tap dancer entitled Foot Don't Fail Me Now. You will be invited—and expected—to join in singing carols, playing traditional parlor games, learning English country dances, and selecting a king and queen of Misrule. There are also additional surprises, such as the unexpected arrival of cousins Dickey and Deidre Dingle, and a performance of Dora's new Christmas play where EVERYONE will be asked to take a role.
